1. What OAKFORM is

OAKFORM lets you see how garments from participating brands may look and fit on you before you buy. You create a Mirror ID, complete a short scan with your device camera, and then preview ("try on") garments from brands in one place.

OAKFORM is a discovery and preview tool. We do not sell garments, take orders or process payments. When you choose to buy, we direct you to the merchant that owns and sells the garment, and your purchase is a contract solely between you and that merchant.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account, and if you are under the age of majority where you live you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian.

You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account and Mirror ID

You can sign up with an email address and password, or with Google or Apple. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

Tell us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is compromised.

Your Mirror ID is personal to you. Do not scan, upload or create a profile for another person without their clear permission.

4. The Mirror scan and your content

To build your profile, Mirror asks for access to your camera and for details such as your height. You choose whether to grant access and may stop a scan at any time.

You keep ownership of the photos, scan images and measurements you provide ("Your Content"). You grant OAKFORM a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service for you, including generating try-on previews. We do not sell Your Content.

You confirm that you have the right to provide Your Content and that it does not violate anyone else’s rights or any law.

5. Try-on results and fit

Try-on previews are visual estimates generated from your scan and the brand’s garment information. Colour, texture, drape and size can differ from the real product because of lighting, screen settings, fabric behaviour and scan quality.

Previews are not a guarantee of fit, size or appearance. Please check the brand’s size guide and return policy before you buy.

6. Merchants, products and purchases

Product names, images, prices and availability come from participating brands and may change without notice. We work to keep them accurate but do not warrant that they are complete or error-free.

When you choose to buy, we send you to the merchant’s own website or checkout. The merchant’s terms, pricing, payment, shipping, returns, refunds and privacy practices apply to that purchase. The merchant, not OAKFORM, is responsible for fulfilling your order, handling payment and resolving any issue with it.

OAKFORM never receives or stores your payment details, and we are not a party to, or responsible for, any transaction between you and a merchant.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, sexually explicit or that depicts someone without their permission;
  • scan or impersonate another person, or misrepresent who you are;
  • probe, scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service, our APIs or security features;
  • use automated means to create accounts or collect data from the Service;
  • use the Service or its try-on imagery to train machine-learning models, or to build a competing product;
  • use the Service in violation of any applicable law.

8. Our intellectual property

The Service, including the OAKFORM and Mirror names and logos, software, design, and the try-on technology, is owned by OAKFORM or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

Brand names, product images and trademarks belong to their respective owners and appear with their permission.

9. Feedback

If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

10. Third-party services

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services, such as Google and Apple sign-in and merchant websites. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, put the Service or other users at risk, or where required by law.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 8, 12, 13 and 15) will do so.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OAKFORM and its affiliates, directors, employees and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify OAKFORM against claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and OAKFORM consent to their jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in your home state or country.

Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

16. Changes to the Service and these Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will tell you, for example by email or a notice in the app. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
